General Questions
1. Warranty Coverage
All custom-built and modified watches purchased from WEEZMODS are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects relating to the movement and assembly workmanship under normal intended use.
At our sole discretion, defective components may be repaired or replaced with the same or equivalent parts.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers:
- Movement failure due to manufacturing defects.
- Improper assembly performed by WEEZMODS.
- Defects affecting normal timekeeping functions.
- Defects in installed components present upon delivery.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, abuse, misuse, or neglect.
- Impact damage, drops, shocks, or crushing.
- Water ingress resulting from improper use or operation beyond the stated water resistance rating.
- Scratches, dents, fading, coating wear, or normal cosmetic wear and tear.
- Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, solvents, saltwater, or extreme temperatures.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, modifications, or servicing by third parties.
- Damage caused by improper handling of the crown, bezel, bracelet, strap, or clasp.
- Consumable components including straps, bracelets, spring bars, gaskets, and batteries (where applicable).
- Timekeeping variations within normal movement tolerances.
4. Water Resistance
Water resistance ratings apply only at the time of testing and assembly.
Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may decrease over time due to aging gaskets, accidental impacts, improper crown operation, or normal wear.
Water damage is not covered unless a manufacturing defect is determined by WEEZMODS.
5. Warranty Claims
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact WEEZMODS with:
- Order number.
- Description of the issue.
- Clear photographs or videos demonstrating the fault.
Additional information may be requested to assist with diagnosis.
6. Shipping & Customs
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty claims, including shipping to and from the WEEZMODS service facility.
Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT, GST, or other charges incurred during transit are solely the responsibility of the customer.
WEEZMODS is not responsible for parcels lost, damaged, delayed, or held by customs while being returned for warranty service.
7. Genuine Seiko Components
Certain custom watches may utilize genuine Seiko movements and/or genuine Seiko base watches.
However, once modified, the watch is no longer covered by Seiko's manufacturer warranty.
Any warranty provided is exclusively offered by WEEZMODS and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or administered by Seiko.
8. Limitation of Liability
WEEZMODS' liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective components.
Under no circumstances shall WEEZMODS be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses arising from the use or inability to use the product.
9. Warranty Transfer
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Right to Amend
WEEZMODS reserves the right to amend, update, or modify this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
The warranty terms applicable at the time of purchase shall govern any valid warranty claim.
